HISTORY

August 2022

• Proratio, s.r.o. changes the ownership structure. Company founder and CEO Mr. Henry Kummer announced his intention to retire. He transfers his share in the company to Mr. Matthias Lodes, managing director of MJL Group GmbH.

December 2018

• Proratio,s.r.o. celebrates the 25th anniversary of its founding

May 2018

• certification according to the new standards of IATF 16949: 2016, ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015.

January 2016

• In order to continue to reliably meet our growing customer demand and consequently increase our production capacity, we consistently invest in our machines and equipment. On the grounds of to our customers demand for PCBs, the management of the company decided to purchase a new SMT placement machine and  new in-line automatic optical inspection device. The acquisition of these technologies and their inclusion in the production line led to the completion of the first phase of the modernization of the electronic production department of our company.
  

End of 2014

• The company is launching its new www sites whose aim is further improvement of the company’s communication with suppliers, customers as well as the general public. Proratio employs about 170 permanent employees

September 2013 - Certification of the quality management system

• Successful certification and subsequent integration of the quality management system ISO / TS 16949.
• In the follow-up to the concept of protection of the environment we are proud of our simultaneous certification according to EMS ISO 14001 as well.

2010

• The number of orders is growing, which is associated also with the growth of the company’s revenues. Thanks to this fact, the company can implement planned capital investments, such as renovation of the operation building in Poříčí nad Sázavou. With further capital investments implemented in new and modern production technologies we are able to increase our work productivity. Thanks to large financial investments, the company markedly improves work environment of our employees.

June 2009

• Thanks to the long-term, very successful cooperation and in partnership with customers in automotive area we are able to state, that the company has been financially stabilised.

September 2007

• There is a change in ownership of the company. Mr. Kummer and Mr. Lodes become the sole owner of Proratio, sro.

2004

• Further growth of production. The purchased production premises ceased to be satisfactory for us in terms of capacity, and therefore the company extends its production base with a branch in Sedlčany with 60 permanent employees .

June 2003

• Proratio, s.r.o. is successfully certified according to DIN – ISO 9001

Year 2002

• The production of cable sets for airbags intended for AUDI and VW vehicles with the highest safety level was launched.

February 2001

• The company has introduced and separately developed technologies of injection moulding of plastic components onto cable sets.

Year 2000

• An extreme increase in production of loudspeaker membranes and rings. The company has introduced a three-shift operation and the total number of employees has exceeded the limit of 100 persons.
• For the reasons of a possibility of finding other German customers and also for assurance and simplification of logistic processes,, Company Executive Officers  Mr. Lodes and Mr. Kummer founded the SKP- Technik company having its registered office in Germany.
• Introduction of production technologies for installation of printed circuit systems, installation with SMD automatic machines and soldering by means of a wave soldering process.

Period 1996 – 1999

• This period is characterised with a steady extension of production. Besides the cable range, production activities were extended also with production of microphones and security systems in cooperation with a new customer - Hosiden Besson Ltd. having its headquarters in U.K.

1995

• Launching of production of loudspeaker membranes for Dr. Kurt Müller GmbH with the seat in Germany.
• At the same time the company purchased plots of land and operational buildings in Poříčí nad Sázavou.

1st half of 1994

• The production range has been extended with cables and the number of permanent employees rose to 40 persons.

21 December 1993

• The company “Proratio, s.r.o.” was founded in Poříčí nad Sázavou. The subject matter of the company’s activities consisted of supplies of parts for the automotive industry and assemblies of pressure switches.
• The company employs twenty permanent employees.
